PopVectors is seeking a skilled and creative Lifestyle Vlogs Video Editor to join our team. This position focuses on producing high-quality, engaging, long-form lifestyle vlogs that captivate and hold the audience’s attention through cinematic storytelling, deliberate pacing, and immersive audio-visual elements. The ideal candidate is a storytelling-driven editor who excels at transforming raw footage and rough cuts into polished videos with seamless story flow, sophisticated color grading, and thoughtful sound design. This role offers flexible working options, including a hybrid office environment in Gulberg, Islamabad or fully remote arrangements, with an emphasis on delivering quality work without micromanagement. The selected candidate will work collaboratively in refining the creative direction and workflow to produce videos that meet premium lifestyle aesthetics. Although this role does not include managing a team, the editor will play a foundational role in shaping the post-production process as the project grows. Excellent self-management skills, a strong visual and audio sense, and advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software are essential to succeed in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw footage and preliminary rough cuts into polished, compelling long-form lifestyle vlogs that engage viewers consistently.
• Maintain seamless story pacing and ensure visual flow that enhances narrative clarity and viewer retention throughout each video.
• Perform professional color grading to achieve natural skin tones and cinematic contrast, aligned with a premium lifestyle visual style.
• Carefully select and integrate B-roll footage to complement and elevate the main narrative without overwhelming the visual experience.
• Execute comprehensive sound design by balancing audio levels, incorporating ambient sounds, and synchronizing music to enrich the overall video atmosphere.
• Continuously collaborate on improving editing workflows and exploring creative directions that enhance production quality and efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to professional editing standards, avoiding generic presets and ensuring all effects and transitions are thoughtfully customized to fit project needs.
• Manage project files and deadlines effectively to ensure timely delivery of final videos, working independently in a hybrid or fully remote setting.
• Stay updated on industry trends and editing techniques to continually elevate the quality and innovation of lifestyle vlog content.
