Precise Interior & Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer specializing in civil and interior construction projects. This role involves meticulous preparation of quantity takeoffs, bill of quantities (BOQ), and accurate cost estimations based on architectural, civil, and interior drawings. The ideal candidate manages project quotations, client interim payment certificates (IPCs), running bills, and final billing procedures while ensuring that all contractor and vendor invoices are verified against precise measurements and agreed-upon rates. This position demands close collaboration with site and procurement teams to ensure accurate budgeting, billing, and cost control across multiple civil and interior projects. The role requires managing a team of two persons, leading efforts in cost estimation and project billing to support smooth project execution and financial tracking. The candidate applies expertise in rate analysis and maintains up-to-date material and labor cost databases to evaluate work executed and identify variations or additional work effectively. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized estimation software such as PlanSwift is essential for preparing detailed cost evaluations. This position suits professionals with a minimum of four years’ relevant experience who thrive in a structured environment, balancing technical knowledge with practical project management aspects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) from civil, architectural, and interior drawings to support project bidding and cost control.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and project quotations for civil and interior works, incorporating all necessary materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Generate client interim payment certificates (IPCs), running bills, and final bills in accordance with contractual terms to facilitate timely payments.
• Verify invoices submitted by contractors, subcontractors, and vendors by comparing measurements and costs against agreed rates to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Conduct detailed rate analysis and continuously update material and labor cost databases to reflect current market conditions and project-specific requirements.
• Measure completed works on-site and assess any variations or additional works to evaluate their impact on overall project cost and schedule.
• Coordinate effectively with site management, procurement, and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely costing, billing, and budget tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and supervise a team of two persons, providing guidance and sharing expertise to improve estimation quality and project delivery.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and estimation software such as PlanSwift to prepare detailed cost reports, schedules of rates, and support data-driven decision making.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all estimation and billing processes to ensure compliance with company policies and auditing requirements.
• Support tender preparation and bid evaluation activities by providing precise cost data and scope clarifications.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering without compromising project quality or scope.
• Ensure compliance with relevant construction specifications and contractual obligations related to quantity surveying and cost estimation.
