Prestige Motor Works is looking for a skilled Car Detailer with a strong background in automotive detailing and polishing. The ideal candidate brings at least four years of professional experience and comprehensive knowledge of car surface preparation, paint correction, and protective finish application. This role requires someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and highly proficient in all facets of automotive detailing, ensuring each vehicle looks its absolute best. The position includes overseeing and coordinating a team of two detailers, guiding their daily activities to maintain high-quality standards. The Car Detailer is responsible for delivering meticulous interior and exterior cleaning and restoration services. This role demands expertise in handling various car surfaces with precision including operating dual-action polishers, applying waxes and sealants, and properly preparing and decontaminating paint surfaces. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exterior washing and drying, ensuring no spots or streaks remain.
- Execute detailed interior cleaning, including vacuuming, shampooing, and fabric and leather treatment.
- Conduct paint correction and polishing to restore the original color and gloss of the vehicle.
- Apply wax and sealants to protect vehicle paint and enhance its shine.
- Prepare and decontaminate paint surfaces to remove dirt, oxidation, and other impurities before polishing.
- Operate dual-action polishers safely and effectively to achieve superior finish results.
- Level protective finishes and perform microfiber buffing for an even and flawless surface.
- Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage and train a team of two detailers to maintain productivity and quality output.
- Maintain detailing tools, equipment, and workspace in clean and operational condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide service recommendations.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines and environmental policies during all detailing processes.
