This role focuses on managing and executing strategies to increase organic traffic and customer engagement for Google Business Profiles, requiring a strong understanding of Google's search algorithms and local SEO practices. The specialist will work independently without managing a team but will collaborate closely with marketing and content departments to align local search strategies with overall company goals. The perfect candidate demonstrates a detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate and up-to-date business information, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing improvement plans for client and company profiles alike.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles to improve local search rankings and visibility.
- Implement effective Google Maps SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and customer engagement.
- Ensure all business listings have accurate and consistent information, including addresses, contact details, and business hours.
- Monitor and analyze Google Business Profile performance metrics and generate regular reports.
- Identify opportunities to enhance profile presence through posts, images, reviews, and Q&A.
- Stay current with Google’s algorithm updates and local SEO best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align local SEO strategies with broader marketing campaigns.
- Resolve any issues related to profile suspensions, duplicate listings, or inaccurate information.
- Conduct keyword research relevant to local search and optimize business descriptions accordingly.
