Architectural Draftsman

Description

Pro Link Design & Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of five years professional experience to join their team in Lahore. This role requires mastery in AutoCAD Architecture for both 2D and 3D drafting, along with strong proficiency in SketchUp. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and interior design layouts. They will be responsible for preparing detailed construction and working drawings, ensuring precision in architectural detailing, dimensions, and the coordination of architectural and interior plans. The candidate must be technically proficient, detail-oriented, and creative, capable of independently managing projects from concept through to detailed working drawings. Although this position does not involve team management, the Architectural Draftsman will play a crucial role in contributing to project success through their expertise in architectural drafting and design coordination. A deep understanding of materials, finishes, and construction details is essential to translate architectural concepts into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and interior layouts using AutoCAD Architecture and related design tools.
• Develop accurate 2D and 3D models that visually represent design concepts and support construction documentation.
• Prepare comprehensive working drawings and construction documents that adhere to project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate architectural drafting activities with interior design drawings to ensure consistency and accuracy across disciplines.
• Translate architectural concepts and sketches into precise technical drawings suitable for construction and regulatory approval.
• Incorporate knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods into drawings to provide realistic and practical design solutions.
• Maintain strict attention to detail in all drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to refine design details and resolve drafting challenges.
• Review and update drawings as required based on project revisions, client feedback, and site conditions.
• Utilize SketchUp to enhance presentations and visualize spatial configurations effectively for client and team communication.
• Ensure all architectural documentation is organized, complete, and meets the quality expectations of Pro Link Design & Construction.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase by clarifying drawing details as necessary.
