Professional Employers (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook for a private household in Lahore. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in Food Preparation, Cooking Techniques, and Food Safety And Sanitation, with particular expertise in Pakistani, Continental, and Chinese cuisines. This role requires preparing daily meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks while maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. The Cook will plan meals according to family preferences and ensure food is prepared safely and deliciously, catering to dietary needs with accuracy and care. The successful candidate will work independently to manage kitchen activities and supplies, assist with grocery shopping, and prepare meals for guests and special occasions when required. Reliability, punctuality, and an organized approach are essential. The Cook is expected to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times and have the flexibility to adapt to the household’s schedules and requirements. This role does not involve managing a team but calls for a responsible individual capable of working autonomously to deliver excellent culinary results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per household requirements.
• Plan daily meals considering family preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory, keep track of supplies, and assist in grocery shopping to ensure freshness of ingredients.
• Cook meals for guests and prepare special dishes for occasions when needed.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards.
• Ensure proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage.
• Follow recipes or household preferences to deliver tasty and nutritious meals.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition.
• Adapt cooking plans and schedules flexibly to suit household needs and special requests.
