Description
Programmer Girls School is seeking a dedicated Home Teacher to take full responsibility for teaching, discipline, and overall development of students in one class. This role involves delivering daily lessons according to the school syllabus, preparing educational materials, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and have strong skills in curriculum planning, student assessment, and communication. This position requires a committed individual who can engage students effectively and foster both their academic and personal growth. The Home Teacher will serve as the class in-charge, managing attendance, student behavior, and communication with parents and school staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with other teachers and school administration to support various school activities and events. The candidate will also handle preparations for tests, maintain detailed teaching records, and uphold school policies and conduct standards.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned subjects to the full class as per the school syllabus and timetable, including subjects such as English, Urdu, Math, and General Knowledge.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, and engaging class activities suitable for the age group of students.
- Conduct regular classroom tests, review homework assignments, and maintain comprehensive records of student progress.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and provide extra help to improve their performance.
- Prepare students for monthly tests, term exams, and other school assessments to ensure consistent academic progress.
- Serve as the class in-charge, managing attendance records, student discipline, and fostering a respectful classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns to promote student development.
- Coordinate with subject teachers and administrative staff to support smooth functioning of class-related activities.
- Supervise students during assemblies, breaks, and other school activities as assigned to ensure safety and discipline.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development training sessions, and parent-teacher meetings to stay aligned with school goals.
- Adhere to school policies, dress code, and code of conduct to maintain professionalism and provide a positive role model for students.
- Maintain all teaching records, mark sheets, and the required documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support and contribute to school events, functions, and co-curricular activities, enhancing the overall student experience.
