PTE Boost is seeking a dedicated PTE Tutor / Pearson Exam Tutor who specializes in preparing students for the PTE Academic examination. This role focuses on enhancing students’ skills in speaking, pronunciation, and overall exam strategies to improve their performance. Working remotely with this Australian-based organization, the tutor will provide personalized coaching that helps learners build confidence and master the components of the PTE exam. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in English language instruction and proven experience guiding students through language assessments. The tutor will use their expertise to develop tailored lesson plans and practice exercises that reflect the structure and timing of the PTE Academic test. As this role does not involve managing a team, the incumbent will concentrate on one-on-one or small group sessions, employing effective time management techniques to ensure maximum productivity. A reliable high-speed internet connection is essential to support online teaching activities while maintaining seamless communication and engagement with students.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive coaching sessions focused on the PTE Academic exam, addressing all core components including speaking, writing, reading, and listening.
• Develop individualized learning plans based on students’ strengths and weaknesses to enhance their exam readiness and confidence.
• Provide clear guidance on pronunciation, fluency, and speaking clarity to improve communication skills suitable for the exam.
• Explain and practice effective exam strategies to optimize time management and performance during the test.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, offering constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Prepare students for the specific format and requirements of the PTE Academic exam through mock tests and practice exercises.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and outcomes to support reporting and curriculum adjustments.
• Stay informed about the latest updates in the PTE Academic exam format and best teaching practices.
• Utilize digital platforms and online tools effectively to facilitate interactive and engaging virtual learning experiences.
• Ensure professional and timely communication with students, providing motivational support and addressing their exam-related concerns.
