The Lecturer IT in Ecommerce, Web Design, and Digital Marketing at Pub-Sector is responsible for delivering high-quality educational content that equips students with practical and theoretical knowledge in these dynamic fields. This role demands expertise in developing and presenting course materials related to ecommerce strategies, digital marketing techniques, and web design principles, including responsive design and content management systems. The lecturer engages students through lectures, demonstrations, and practical assignments, ensuring they gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest industry practices and technologies. This position requires at least two years of experience in the relevant IT domains and a minimum graduation in IT. The lecturer must be capable of effectively teaching classes, fostering an interactive learning environment, and assessing student progress. While this role does not include managing a team, it offers the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and stay abreast of evolving trends in ecommerce, SEO, web design, and digital marketing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, plan, and deliver engaging lectures on Ecommerce Strategy, Web Design Principles, Digital Marketing, and related topics aligned with curriculum standards.
- Develop course materials such as presentations, tutorials, assignments, and exams that address both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
- Instruct students in the use of ecommerce platforms, content management systems such as WordPress, and web design tools including HTML5 and Bootstrap.
- Teach search engine optimization (SEO) methods to improve website visibility and educate students on online advertising and social media marketing tactics.
- Demonstrate responsive web design techniques and guide students on best practices for creating user-friendly, mobile-responsive websites.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic growth and development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on trends and advancements in ecommerce, web design frameworks, and digital marketing strategies to enhance teaching quality.
- Facilitate classroom discussions, encourage critical thinking, and respond to student inquiries to foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in academic meetings related to curriculum improvements and teaching methodologies.
- Use technology effectively to enhance teaching delivery and incorporate multimedia tools as appropriate.
