The ideal candidate holds a BSN (RN), Nursing Diploma, or Midwifery Diploma and brings at least three years of relevant experience. This role demands a professional, responsible, and cooperative nurse capable of delivering excellent patient care and communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment. The position involves direct patient interaction, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols to promote patient safety and wellbeing. In this role, the Staff Nurse will provide compassionate care to patients by closely observing their medical conditions and responding promptly to emergency situations. The candidate should be proficient in IV therapy and familiar with healthcare billing software, enhancing patient management efficiency. While this position does not include managing a team, the Nurse must work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support daily hospital operations and ensure optimal patient outcomes. The hospital offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 30,000 to 35,000, reflecting the importance of this clinical role within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform continuous patient assessment including monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to prescribed orders and nursing standards.
- Implement infection control procedures to minimize the risk of transmitting diseases within the hospital setting.
- Deliver emergency response care promptly and effectively, stabilizing patients and coordinating with the emergency team.
- Provide intravenous therapy, including preparation and administration of IV fluids and medications, while maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, medication records, and nursing interventions using healthcare billing software.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance to support recovery and health promotion.
- Collaborate with doctors, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards to create a secure environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain nursing skills and knowledge relevant to practice.
- Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality in managing patient information and delivering care.
- Support clinical audit and quality improvement activities within the nursing department.
