Qurat International Academy is seeking a dedicated Online Female GCSE and A Levels Teacher with a strong command of GCSE and A-level subjects in line with the UK curriculum. The ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding of the UK curriculum and exam board requirements, particularly the assessment criteria established by AQA, OCR, and Pearson Edexcel. This role involves delivering engaging, effective online lessons and preparing students for their examinations by developing comprehensive lesson plans that adhere strictly to curriculum standards. The candidate must have at least one year of relevant teaching experience and excellent English communication skills to facilitate clear and effective instruction. A stable internet connection is essential for conducting seamless online classes. This position does not involve managing a team, allowing the instructor to focus solely on providing high-quality, personalized education support to students through virtual platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive online lessons aligned with GCSE and A-level curricula to support student achievement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans reflecting UK curriculum standards and exam board assessment criteria.
- Prepare students for examinations by providing guidance on AQA, OCR, and Pearson Edexcel specifications and expectations.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and mock exams, offering constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
- Monitor and report student performance to ensure academic progress and identify areas needing additional support.
- Utilize digital tools and educational platforms effectively to enhance remote learning experiences.
- Maintain clear communication with students to address questions and provide academic support promptly.
- Stay updated with changes in GCSE and A-level syllabuses, adapting instructional methods accordingly.
