Rajwe is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background with over seven years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter at A.D.M and an additional two years at Rajby. This role involves applying technical skills to install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The candidate will work closely with equipment and machinery used in various industrial processes, focusing on precision and safety in all tasks. The position requires leadership and team management capabilities, as the Mechanical Fitter will oversee a team of 20 persons. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to efficiently coordinate team activities, manage workflows, and ensure project timelines are met. The role demands a hands-on approach with attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of 20 mechanical fitters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
- Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints to execute installation and repair tasks accurately.
- Coordinate with other departments to plan and execute projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations during all mechanical operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mechanical system performance.
- Manage inventory of mechanical parts and tools to ensure availability and readiness for maintenance tasks.
