Kitchen helper

Description

Rancher Chicken Base is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen operations efficiently. The successful candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain food storage and organization, and ensure the kitchen environment is clean and orderly. This role requires a candidate with at least two years of experience who can work effectively within a team and contribute to smooth kitchen workflows. The Kitchen Helper will also manage a team of five persons, overseeing their tasks to maintain high service standards and support the preparation of quality food products.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients and basic food items as directed to support kitchen chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment to comply with health and safety regulations. Organize and manage food storage, ensuring all items are properly labeled, stored safely, and rotated to minimize waste. Supervise and coordinate a team of five kitchen assistants, assigning daily tasks and monitoring their performance to meet service requirements. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or needs for replenishment to kitchen management promptly. Support the implementation of efficient kitchen workflows to improve service quality and reduce preparation time. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders while upholding quality and hygiene standards. Participate in routine cleaning and maintenance duties to preserve a safe and pleasant kitchen environment. Assist with receiving and inspecting food deliveries to verify quality and accuracy. Follow all company policies and procedures related to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety diligently.
