Rankdrill is seeking a motivated SEO Trainee to join our dynamic digital marketing team. This entry-level role focuses on providing hands-on experience in foundational search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, including keyword research, basic analytics, and link building. Candidates will learn to utilize essential SEO tools and develop competencies in competitor analysis to enhance organic search performance. This role is ideal for fresh candidates with a basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing who are eager to build their skills and contribute effectively to SEO projects. The SEO Trainee works closely with the SEO team to execute assigned tasks, analyze website performance, and support the implementation of on-page and off-page SEO strategies. Strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and effective communication skills are vital to success in this role. While this position does not involve managing a team, it requires a positive attitude, punctuality, and the willingness to continually learn and improve within the fast-evolving digital marketing landscape.
Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research to identify relevant terms that improve search engine rankings.
- Utilize SEO tools to analyze website performance and track optimization progress.
- Assist in link building initiatives by identifying potential backlink opportunities.
- Conduct basic competitor analysis to understand SEO strategies and industry trends.
- Support the team in gathering and maintaining data using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Monitor website analytics to assess traffic trends and user engagement.
- Follow instructions to complete assigned SEO tasks accurately and on time.
- Communicate progress and challenges effectively to team members and supervisors.
- Continuously update knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends.
- Maintain punctuality and a positive attitude while working collaboratively within the team.
