Recruit AI is seeking a diligent Accounts Field Supervisor with at least one year of experience, ideally within the fast-moving consumer goods industry. This role involves overseeing field account activities, including verifying sales transactions, distributor accounts, and payment collections. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and is comfortable working in dynamic field environments requiring regular travel to various distributor and retail locations. This position does not include team management responsibilities but requires effective coordination with multiple stakeholders such as sales teams, distributors, and finance departments. The Accounts Field Supervisor ensures the integrity of financial data by verifying invoices, receipts, and cash collections on-site. The role demands proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software to maintain thorough and accurate financial documentation. Communication skills and the ability to produce comprehensive reports for account verification are essential. The supervisor continuously tracks outstanding payments, identifies discrepancies, and supports the company in maintaining robust financial controls and reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Visit distributors, retailers, and assigned field locations to inspect and verify account records and financial transactions.
- Examine sales invoices, receipts, cash collections, and payment documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Cross-check daily sales and collection reports against actual field data to validate the correctness of records.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, resolving discrepancies through effective communication with distributors and customers.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams, distributors, and the internal accounts department to streamline collections and account reconciliation processes.
- Identify and report any anomalies, discrepancies, or irregularities in cash collections, invoices, or account balances promptly to management.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly verification reports summarizing audit results and field findings.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions verified in the field to maintain audit readiness.
- Support recovery efforts on overdue accounts and assist in the resolution of payment disputes, enhancing the company's cash flow position.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and regulatory requirements during field audits and account verification activities.
- Maintain updated knowledge of accounting standards and FMCG industry practices relevant to field account management.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to meet the demands of the role and effectively manage field activities.
