Educational Advisor

Description

The Educational Advisor will be responsible for speaking with parents across the UK, understanding their children's educational requirements, recommending suitable tutoring solutions, and converting qualified leads into paying clients.

This is a telephone-based sales role and requires excellent spoken English, strong communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and confidently close sales.

Full training will be provided on the UK education system, curriculum, tutoring services, CRM, sales processes, and payment procedures.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify incoming leads and identify genuine sales opportunities.
• Make both inbound and outbound calls to prospective and existing clients.
• Communicate professionally and confidently with parents across the UK.
• Understand students' educational needs and recommend appropriate tutoring solutions.
• Explain Canonical Tutors' services, tutoring programs, and processes to prospective clients.
• Schedule free trial lessons and appointments.
• Follow up with prospective clients through telephone calls and professional emails.
• Build strong relationships with parents and prospective clients.
• Handle customer questions and address concerns effectively.
• Convert qualified leads into paying clients and consistently work toward sales targets.
• Take and process client payments accurately and professionally.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM.
• Enter, maintain, and update customer information using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Send professional emails and follow up with clients as required.
• Achieve agreed sales, conversion, and performance targets.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.

Requirements

• UK accent or neutral English accent is required.
• Excellent spoken English with strong pronunciation and telephone communication skills.
• Confident and comfortable communicating with customers over the phone.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Sales-oriented, target-driven, and motivated by achieving results.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Professional and confident communication style.
• Ability to handle objections and convert leads into sales.
• Good written English and ability to draft professional emails.
• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
• Good computer literacy and internet skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and professionally presented.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Fresh graduates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous sales, customer service, telesales, education, or call-center experience will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Training & Development

No prior knowledge of the UK education system is required. Comprehensive training will be provided on:
