The successful candidate performs physical inspections across various business locations including branches, warehouses, shops, and sites, verifying operations and examining financial and operational records to ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards. This role requires frequent travel to sites for on-site verification and audit execution. The Field Auditor prepares accurate and detailed audit reports, identifies discrepancies, and recommends corrective actions, playing a vital role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of company operations. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and demonstrates strong skills in observation, analysis, and problem-solving. Proficiency in audit procedures, record verification, and MS Excel is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently in field environments. This position is critical for supporting the organization’s risk management and compliance efforts through rigorous on-site audits and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough field audits and physical inspections at assigned business locations including branches, shops, warehouses, and operational sites.
• Visit various sites regularly to verify business operations, asset integrity, and record accuracy against company policies and standards.
• Examine financial and operational documents such as receipts, invoices, stock records, and transaction reports to detect inconsistencies or irregularities.
• Identify potential risks and discrepancies during field visits, leveraging strong analytical skills to assess the impact and urgency of issues found.
• Verify inventory levels, asset conditions, and business transactions as part of comprehensive audit procedures to ensure accountability.
• Prepare detailed and accurate audit reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for management review.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, audit procedures, and regulatory compliance standards throughout the audit process.
• Follow up on audit findings by recommending actionable corrective measures and monitoring their implementation to mitigate identified risks.
• Maintain meticulous and organized documentation of field visits, evidence collected, audit processes, and final reports.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to facilitate continuous improvement in operational controls and risk mitigation.
• Stay current with industry best practices related to auditing, inspection techniques, and compliance requirements to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Manage scheduling and logistics for travel to multiple audit locations efficiently, ensuring timely completion of assigned audits.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site management and stakeholders to gather necessary information and explain audit outcomes.
