Hospital Director and Chief Executive Officer

One of leading healthcare institution is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for the development, commissioning, and management of a major tertiary care teaching hospital. The role will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, patient-centered care, financial sustainability, operational performance, healthcare innovation, education, research, and long-term institutional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, commissioning, and operations of a world-class tertiary care teaching hospital.

• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with institutional objectives and healthcare priorities.

• Drive sustainable growth, healthcare innovation, digital transformation, and future expansion.

• Ensure financial sustainability, operational excellence, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

• Build a strong culture of clinical excellence, patient safety, quality, and patient-centered care.

• Integrate healthcare delivery with medical education, research, and academic development.

• Lead senior management teams and establish effective performance, accountability, and governance frameworks.

   

  Required Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS – Mandatory.

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, MBA, or MPH – Preferred.

• Minimum 15 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience with national and/or international exposure.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as CEO, COO, Hospital Director, or in an equivalent executive leadership position.

• Proven leadership experience in large tertiary care hospitals; experience with 700+ bed hospitals is preferred.

• Strategic and visionary healthcare leader with strong business and operational acumen.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex hospital operations and multidisciplinary senior teams.

• Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality standards, financial management, and healthcare transformation.

• Track record of successfully leading large-scale healthcare projects, hospital commissioning, or institutional transformation.
