The HR Generalist at Recruit AI plays a vital role in supporting the human resources functions and office administration to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace environment. This role demands a proactive individual who manages end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, aligning with the company’s workforce planning goals. The HR Generalist handles employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws while fostering employee engagement and retention initiatives. Additionally, this position administers payroll coordination, HR reporting, and office operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and health and safety standards. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it requires collaboration across departments and strong communication skills to support senior management and employees effectively. In this role, the HR Generalist maintains comprehensive HRIS management, develops and implements training and development programs, and manages conflict resolution processes to sustain a positive workplace culture. The position involves overseeing employee onboarding, probationary assessments, grievance handling, and performance reviews to promote professional growth and legal compliance. Responsibilities also extend to general administration, vendor coordination, office supplies management, and maintaining company documentation. The HR Generalist is a key contributor to advancing HR processes, employee satisfaction, and overall organizational productivity at Recruit AI.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with company workforce plans and business objectives.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Establish and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive networking, social media, and partnerships with universities and industry organizations.
- Create and regularly update accurate job descriptions and person specification documents.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire; prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding, induction sessions, and probationary reviews to ensure smooth integration and compliance.
- Maintain current HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook in accordance with evolving employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary issues promptly and effectively.
- Support line managers with performance management processes, including regular reviews and development planning.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety legislation, and workplace equality standards to protect the company and its employees.
- Design and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives, including recognition and reward programs to enhance job satisfaction.
- Organize and facilitate training, professional development workshops, and team-building activities to foster employee growth.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Prepare comprehensive HR reports and analytics for senior management to facilitate data-driven decision making.
- Coordinate payroll administration in collaboration with the finance department to guarantee timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Manage HR-related budgets and contracts with recruitment agencies to optimize hiring costs and vendor relationships.
- Oversee daily office administration, ensuring all facilities, supplies, equipment, and services are managed efficiently.
- Coordinate employee attendance tracking, leave management, travel arrangements, and general administrative duties.
- Maintain company documentation, correspondence, contract files, and administrative records with high organizational standards.
- Support senior management by handling scheduling, meeting arrangements, and administrative reporting tasks.
- Promote a safe, clean, and well-maintained work environment in line with applicable health and safety policies.
- Monitor and control administrative budgets and expenses to maintain operational cost-effectiveness.
