Recruit AI is seeking a talented Interior Designer with at least two years of experience to join our team. This role requires a professional who holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and possesses a strong portfolio focused on residential interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at space planning, client presentation, and design development, with hands-on experience coordinating with contractors and supervising the execution of design work on-site. The position involves a balanced mix of office-based design duties and regular visits to construction sites located in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, ensuring designs are carried out to precise standards and timelines. This role demands an excellent understanding of both modern and classical interior styles, a keen sense of color palettes, furniture selection, and lighting, as well as in-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, and textures. The successful applicant will effectively communicate design concepts using mood boards, layouts, and 3D visualizations, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines. This position does not involve managing a team but requires strong independent organizational skills and a collaborative mindset when working with contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive interior design plans including space planning, furniture layout, and lighting schemes that meet client requirements and project budgets.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design visualization tools.
• Prepare presentations for clients to communicate design concepts effectively through mood boards, 3D renders, and other visual aids.
• Conduct adjacency analysis to ensure optimal spatial relationships and flow between spaces in the design.
• Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment specifications that align with the design vision and client preferences.
• Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure design execution aligns with approved plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve design-related issues during the construction phase.
• Research and stay updated on new materials, finishes, textures, and trends in the interior design industry.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of deliverables according to the project schedule.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their functional needs and aesthetic preferences to deliver customized design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the design and implementation phases.
