Description
The YouTube Growth & Monetization Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of video content by developing strategies tailored to both Shorts and long-form formats. Responsibilities include managing YouTube Studio, overseeing content publishing, handling SEO and copyright compliance, and optimizing monetization processes through YouTube AdSense. Additionally, the manager supports digital marketing initiatives that convert social media audiences into active users on the company’s platforms. Success in this role requires a comprehensive understanding of video content trends, effective audience engagement tactics, and a strong analytical skill set to prepare insights and reports that steer business growth.
Responsibilities
- Launch and expand new YouTube channels with targeted growth and monetization plans.
- Increase channel metrics such as subscribers, views, watch time, engagement rates, and revenue.
- Manage YouTube Studio, Analytics, and AdSense platforms to optimize channel monetization and compliance.
- Optimize video titles, thumbnails, click-through rates (CTR), search engine optimization (SEO), and audience retention to enhance channel performance.
- Develop and implement content strategies for both Shorts and long-form video formats to maximize viewer engagement and monetization.
- Analyze YouTube performance data to identify trending content, viewer preferences, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the content and editing team to recommend video topics, formats, and publishing schedules that align with growth objectives.
- Handle YouTube publishing, ensuring compliance with platform rules regarding SEO, copyright claims, and monetization policies.
- Create strategies to convert social media followers and viewers into app users or customers.
- Monitor user acquisition, engagement, and retention metrics on digital platforms and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Support multi-channel marketing activities including push notifications, email campaigns, and digital advertising to boost audience interaction and conversions.
- Prepare and present detailed weekly and monthly reports on channel growth, performance, and monetization metrics for internal stakeholders.
