Description
Retail Verge is seeking a motivated Junior Robotics & Mechatronics Engineer with up to two years of experience to join our innovative engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fields who are passionate about advancing their career in robotics research and development. The successful candidate will contribute to designing, prototyping, and evaluating mechanical and electromechanical components in robotic systems. This position allows remote, part-time work and demands strong communication skills in English or Urdu. As a Junior Robotics & Mechatronics Engineer, you will engage in the creation and refinement of robotic grippers, sensors, actuators, and other mechanical parts using industry-standard CAD tools such as SolidWorks. You will collaborate with senior engineers to perform technical analyses and engineering simulations, supporting prototype development and research activities. This role is tailored for fresh graduates or final-year students who exhibit excellent technical aptitude and a desire to grow within the field of robotics and mechatronics engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical components for robotics applications using CAD modelling software like SolidWorks.
- Assist in research and prototype development by constructing and testing robotic grippers, sensors, and actuators.
- Perform technical analyses and engineering simulations to evaluate design feasibility and performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical components with electronic and control systems.
- Support documentation of design processes, test outcomes, and research findings to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Participate in troubleshooting and iterative improvement of robotic systems based on test results and feedback.
- Maintain awareness of the latest developments in robotics, mechatronics, and mechanical design to apply best practices.
- Communicate effectively in English or Urdu within remote, part-time working arrangements to ensure smooth project collaboration.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards during the design, testing, and implementation of robotic systems.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions to innovate and improve product design and functionality.
