Accounting Analyst

Description

Right Click Consulting (SMC-Pvt) Ltd seeks a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst with a solid accounting background and experience in program finance to support program management, customer invoicing, and financial reporting. This role requires expertise working across accounting and finance functions within professional services environments. The ideal candidate is proficient in financial reporting, account reconciliation, variance analysis, and general ledger activities, and has a strong grasp of financial reporting standards and ERP systems like Unanet. The position demands strong analytical and communication skills to prepare and deliver financial reports and presentations. The successful candidate works closely with program managers to manage financial processes including cash management, accounts payable, payroll, customer invoicing, and revenue recognition. This role ensures accurate financial tracking at the program level and supports month-end closing activities. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, it requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders to maintain high standards of financial integrity. Familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and data visualization tools further enhances performance in this position, supporting leadership and customer discussions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support program accounting and program finance activities, collaborating closely with program managers to ensure accurate financial management.
• Manage accounts payable, expense reporting, and payroll processes to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Oversee cash management related to the invoicing process to ensure timely and precise cash flow tracking.
• Handle customer invoicing, revenue recognition, and program-level financial tracking to meet accounting standards and company policies.
• Perform general ledger accounting tasks including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closing activities.
• Utilize Unanet or similar ERP systems for financial processing, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting activities by gathering financial data, analyzing trends, and contributing to financial planning.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets or forecasts and prepare insightful financial reports for internal use.
• Develop and deliver financial presentations and reports to support leadership decision making and customer engagements.
• Build and maintain reports using PowerPoint, business intelligence tools, and other data visualization software to enhance financial communication.
