Description
As a CCTV Monitoring professional at Roc, you play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises by observing real-time video feeds from various surveillance cameras. Your primary responsibility is to detect and report any unusual or suspicious activities accurately and promptly. You must maintain a high level of attention to detail and vigilance while continuously monitoring multiple video screens, providing an essential layer of protection for the company’s assets and personnel. In this role, you do not manage a team but work independently or as part of a larger security team to support the organization’s security protocols. You are expected to respond quickly and effectively to incidents by following established procedures and communicating with relevant departments or authorities as necessary. This position at Roc requires commitment, reliability, and the ability to maintain calm under pressure to contribute to a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor real-time video feeds from multiple CCTV cameras across the assigned locations to ensure complete coverage and security.
- Identify and promptly report any suspicious or unauthorized activities, security breaches, or safety hazards according to company protocols.
- Operate CCTV and related monitoring equipment efficiently, ensuring cameras are functional and adjusted for optimal viewing angles.
- Maintain accurate logs of all incidents, observations, and daily activities, ensuring detailed and clear record-keeping for reference and incident analysis.
- Communicate effectively with security personnel, management, and emergency responders to coordinate appropriate responses to incidents.
- Follow company security policies and procedures strictly to protect company property, employees, and visitors.
- Conduct routine checks of CCTV equipment to identify and report any technical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Remain alert and focused during shifts, maintaining high levels of concentration to swiftly detect and handle security concerns.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on security practices, monitoring technologies, and emergency response procedures.
- Assist in providing evidence, such as video recordings, for investigations related to security incidents or law enforcement inquiries.
