Royal Fans is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager for Electrical Maintenance to oversee and enhance the maintenance operations within our electrical division. This role is ideal for a professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a solid 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in industrial electrical systems, control panels, and preventive and corrective maintenance activities. With a focus on compliance and safety, the Assistant Manager will ensure all electrical systems operate efficiently and reliably, while adhering to electrical safety standards and maintenance procedures. Working closely with a team of three skilled maintenance technicians, the Assistant Manager will lead daily operations, manage maintenance schedules, and oversee troubleshooting efforts. The role involves managing power distribution systems, including HT and LT systems, transformers, generators, and sensors, as well as integrating knowledge of advanced control systems such as PLC, VFD, MCC, and PCC. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, effective planning and coordination skills, and a proactive approach to root cause analysis and equipment testing, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a team of three electrical maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce equipment failures and extend the lifespan of electrical systems.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring timely execution while minimizing production disruptions.
- Perform detailed troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical faults in various industrial machinery and control systems.
- Conduct testing and inspection of electrical equipment including transformers, generators, PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and PCCs to maintain optimal performance.
- Analyze root causes of electrical breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Manage spare parts inventory effectively to support maintenance activities and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on maintenance activities, safety protocols, and equipment performance.
- Train and develop team members on technical skills, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Oversee HT/LT electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficient power distribution within the facility.
- Participate in emergency response planning and execution related to electrical system failures or hazards.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, equipment, and methods to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
