Description
Royal Fans is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MTO-Industrial Engineering professional to join its manufacturing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of relevant experience who possess a strong foundation in Industrial Engineering principles and a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will support various production and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall operational performance within the company. The role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing process optimization, lean manufacturing techniques, quality control, and production planning. The candidate should be skilled in time and motion studies, line balancing, work measurement, and have the ability to analyze data using MS Excel. Knowledge of supply chain management and cost reduction techniques will complement the candidate’s contributions toward continuous productivity improvement. While this position does not involve team management responsibilities, it provides a valuable opportunity to develop industry expertise and contribute to Royal Fans' goals of operational excellence and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct time and motion studies to analyze production workflow and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste in manufacturing operations.
- Perform line balancing to ensure optimal allocation of tasks and smooth production flow.
- Assist in production planning and scheduling activities to meet operational targets and deadlines.
- Support quality control and assurance efforts by monitoring production standards and addressing deviations.
- Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure timely availability of materials and minimize production delays.
- Utilize MS Excel and other data analysis tools to collect, analyze, and report production data for informed decision-making.
- Identify and suggest cost reduction techniques and process improvements to enhance productivity and lower operational expenses.
- Maintain documentation of work measurement studies and process improvement initiatives for continuous review.
- Participate in Kaizen events and contribute ideas for ongoing productivity and quality enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest industrial engineering methodologies and manufacturing best practices to support innovation within the company.
