Description
Rozee Sales Demo is seeking a dedicated Manager Employee Relations to lead and oversee employee relations activities within the organization. This role requires a law graduate with at least five years of relevant experience in the banking sector. The successful candidate will manage a team of two individuals and be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and resolving workplace conflicts effectively. This position demands strong leadership and communication skills to guide the team and support organizational goals related to employee engagement and performance management. The Manager Employee Relations will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee relations and minimize disputes. This includes conducting thorough investigations, drafting legal documents related to employment matters, and negotiating resolutions that benefit both the company and its employees. Maintaining a fair and respectful workplace by enforcing company policies and employment law compliance is essential. The candidate must be skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation strategies, and performance management to successfully address employee concerns and promote a constructive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of two professionals handling employee relations issues.
- Develop and implement employee relations policies that comply with applicable employment laws.
- Manage conflict resolution processes to address workplace disputes and grievances promptly and effectively.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and incidents while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.
- Draft and review legal documents and employment contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risk.
- Collaborate with management to improve employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive work culture.
- Advise management and employees on employment laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Facilitate negotiation and mediation processes between employees and management to reach fair settlements.
- Monitor performance management systems and recommend improvements to support employee development and accountability.
- Provide training and guidance to managers and staff on employee relations best practices and legal obligations.
- Analyze data and trends related to employee relations to inform strategic decisions and policy adjustments.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies to maintain fairness and prevent legal disputes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in employment legislation affecting the banking sector and recommend necessary actions.
