RTCAT is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a minimum of five years in software development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of designing, coding, and implementing scalable software solutions that meet business needs. This role requires collaborating with a team of five skilled professionals and actively contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle while ensuring high-quality code and system reliability. The Software Engineer will mentor junior team members, provide technical guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team. The ability to work in a collaborative environment, solve complex technical challenges, and stay updated with emerging technologies is essential to drive innovative solutions at RTCAT.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications following coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring clear understanding and implementation.
- Design software architecture and implement features that are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.
- Participate in code reviews to enforce quality and share knowledge with the development team.
- Lead and mentor a team of five software engineers, providing technical direction and support to maximize productivity.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software performance for a seamless user experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovation.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to improve delivery efficiency.
- Document software designs, configurations, and code changes to maintain clear and comprehensive project records.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of defect-free software products.
