Saab Moulded Furniture is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Taker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving and processing customer orders, ensuring all details are correct and promptly communicated to the production or delivery teams. This role demands a sharp and positive attitude to effectively interact with customers and support a smooth order handling process. The Order Taker will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and resolve any order-related inquiries. This position does not involve managing a team but requires strong multitasking skills to handle multiple orders and customer requests efficiently. The Order Taker plays a critical role in maintaining excellent customer service standards and contributes to the overall success of Saab Moulded Furniture by ensuring orders are taken accurately, processed timely, and customer satisfaction is prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Receive and accurately record customer orders via phone, email, or in-person.
- Verify order details including product specifications, quantities, and delivery information.
- Provide customers with relevant product information and answer their questions effectively.
- Coordinate with production and delivery teams to ensure timely processing and shipment of orders.
- Maintain clear and organized order records and documentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues promptly with a positive and professional attitude.
- Manage multiple order entries and customer communications efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve order discrepancies and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance in order processing.
- Continuously improve order taking processes by providing feedback and suggestions to management.
