The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory processes and ensuring accurate stock control to support operational efficiency. This role involves maintaining precise inventory records, coordinating with procurement and sales teams to balance stock levels in line with demand, and conducting regular stock audits. The Inventory Officer will also implement effective inventory management procedures to optimize the supply chain and warehouse operations. This role includes managing a small team of one person, fostering collaboration and efficiency within the inventory department. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field and demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency with inventory management software and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for successfully executing the role. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management software.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure adequate stock levels that meet customer and production demands.
- Conduct regular audits and physical counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Implement and improve inventory management procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce stock discrepancies.
- Monitor stock movements and control warehouse operations to optimize space utilization and reduce waste.
- Manage order processing to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast needs and support supply chain decision-making.
- Supervise and support a team member, providing guidance and training to improve performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues promptly.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant safety standards in the warehouse and inventory processes.
