Description
Seico Scientific is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Lab Technician with at least 2 years of experience to join our scientific team. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in laboratory safety procedures, sample collection and handling, and equipment calibration and maintenance. This role requires strict adherence to quality control procedures and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory results. The Lab Technician will operate and maintain laboratory instruments, manage calibration data, and follow chemical safety management protocols to support research and testing activities within the organization. The Lab Technician works independently and does not manage a team. The candidate must be capable of efficiently using laboratory information management systems and calibration software to collect, analyze, and report data. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple laboratory tasks ensure that all processes comply with established guidelines. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of experimental data and ensuring the accuracy of measurement instruments used throughout Seico Scientific.
Responsibilities
- Visit hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, clinics, and other healthcare facilities to promote laboratory equipment and products.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain equipment features, functions, and benefits to customers.
- Provide basic technical guidance and application support for laboratory analyzers and instruments.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable laboratory products according to their needs.
- Coordinate with customers regarding installation, commissioning, training, and troubleshooting.
- Support the sales team in preparing quotations, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, demonstrations, tenders, purchase orders, and deliveries.
- Maintain regular communication with laboratory staff, pathologists, procurement officers, and biomedical personnel.
- Conduct market visits to identify new customers, projects, tenders, and business opportunities.
- Collect customer feedback and report technical or product-related issues to the concerned department.
- Coordinate with the service team for technical complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated about laboratory equipment, applications, competing products, and market requirements.
- Travel to customer sites as required for demonstrations, meetings, installations, and follow-ups.
