Description
Seico Scientific is seeking a dedicated Sales and Service Engineer with at least one year of experience to promote and support medical diagnostic and laboratory equipment to a wide range of healthcare clients, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong customer relationships and actively identify new business opportunities. This role involves regular visits to healthcare institutions, participation in tender processes, and coordination of product demonstrations. The engineer is responsible for the complete lifecycle of the equipment, from sales to installation, commissioning, validation, technical training, and after-sales service, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Sales and Service Engineer does not manage a team but collaborates closely with sales, service, procurement, and management departments to ensure seamless delivery and support of products. The role requires technical expertise to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely technical support. Additionally, the engineer maintains detailed service and customer interaction reports to facilitate smooth follow-up and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell medical diagnostic and laboratory equipment to hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and healthcare institutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular visits and effective communication.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads to expand customer base.
- Participate in government and private-sector tenders, preparing and submitting technical and commercial documentation as required.
- Follow up on tender status, including technical and financial evaluations, demonstrations, purchase orders, and product deliveries.
- Coordinate and arrange product demonstrations at hospitals and healthcare institutions to showcase equipment capabilities.
- Install, commission, and validate diagnostic and laboratory equipment at customer locations to ensure proper operation.
- Provide comprehensive technical training to laboratory staff and end users on equipment operation and handling.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and undertake corrective maintenance promptly to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical, electrical, and electronic issues in laboratory equipment to ensure continuous functionality.
- Deliver timely after-sales service and provide technical support to resolve customer inquiries and equipment problems.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, procurement, and management to coordinate customer orders and service delivery.
- Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, installation reports, demonstration reports, and customer visit documentation.
- Follow up on pending quotations, purchase orders, payments, service requests, and customer requirements to ensure closure.
- Monitor customer feedback actively and facilitate coordination with relevant teams to address complaints and improve service quality.
