Selecto Retail is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Department – Accounts & Finance to lead its accounting and financial operations in Faisalabad. This full-time leadership role requires overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and risk management to ensure the company’s financial health and support sustainable business growth. The role demands strong expertise in financial analysis, taxation management, audit coordination, and ERP system management. The successful candidate will manage a team of 8 professionals and collaborate across departments to implement financial strategies, maintain internal controls, and ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. This position offers an opportunity to drive financial discipline and provide strategic leadership within a dynamic retail sector company focused on expansion and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire Accounts & Finance function, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies, policies, and internal controls to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
• Oversee all financial accounting activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of the general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow statements to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements by coordinating audits, tax filings, reconciliations, and interactions with regulatory authorities and auditors.
• Manage risk by identifying financial vulnerabilities and establishing appropriate controls and mitigation plans.
• Supervise taxation management including tax compliance, understanding and applying taxation laws and regulations accurately.
• Utilize ERP systems and financial modeling techniques for improved accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial insights into business planning and operational processes.
• Lead and develop the Accounts & Finance team of 8 members, fostering a high-performance culture through mentoring and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, tools, and reporting to enhance the department's contribution to business growth.
