Senior Fusion Lab is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable full-stack web applications that leverage artificial intelligence technologies. The candidate will build robust backend services and REST APIs primarily using Python and FastAPI, while developing modern, responsive frontend interfaces with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript. This role is crucial for creating efficient, user-friendly applications by combining expertise in both frontend and backend technologies. The engineer will also be responsible for designing database schemas, optimizing overall application performance, and integrating external services and third-party APIs to enhance platform capabilities. This position involves managing a team of 10 engineers, fostering collaborative problem solving and adherence to best practices throughout the software development life cycle. The successful candidate will participate actively in technical discussions and architectural decisions, perform rigorous code reviews, and support continuous delivery of high-quality, reliable production systems. Strong communication skills in English are essential to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on AI-driven solutions, demonstrating ownership from feature conception to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications that leverage artificial intelligence technologies.
- Build and maintain robust backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI to support application functionality and integration needs.
- Develop responsive and dynamic frontend interfaces using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript, ensuring seamless user experience across devices.
- Design efficient and scalable database schemas optimized for complex query performance and data integrity.
- Implement integrations with external services and third-party APIs to extend application features and ensure interoperability.
- Lead and manage a team of 10 engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and ensuring adherence to software development best practices.
- Participate actively in technical discussions and architecture decision-making to continuously enhance the system design and functionality.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality and to enforce coding standards within the team.
- Own feature development lifecycle from initial planning, through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable production systems.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system stability and responsiveness.
- Communicate effectively in English to coordinate with distributed teams and support cross-functional collaborations.
