Instructor (SCPS)

Description

Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Instructor to deliver high-quality educational experiences. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of teaching experience and demonstrates expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and student assessment. This role requires proficiency in instructional design principles and familiarity with learning management systems to facilitate engaging and effective instruction. The Instructor will employ subject matter expertise to create comprehensive course materials that meet regulatory standards and support students' academic success. In this position, the Instructor contributes to the continuous improvement of educational programs by integrating instructional technologies such as SCORM and xAPI standards. The individual will also apply frameworks like Understanding by Design (UbD) to enhance curriculum alignment and foster performance-based assessments. While this role does not involve managing a team, collaboration with faculty and administrative staff is essential to maintain compliance with business process modeling practices and to support a dynamic learning environment at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop lesson plans and course materials that align with curriculum objectives and relevant standards.
• Deliver engaging classroom instruction using effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Apply instructional design methods to structure courses that enhance learning outcomes and accommodate diverse learner needs.
• Utilize learning management systems to organize course content, track student progress, and ensure accessibility of educational resources.
• Incorporate SCORM and xAPI standards to support interactive and trackable e-learning modules.
• Employ the Understanding by Design framework to promote backward curriculum planning and meaningful learning experiences.
• Ensure that all course materials and instructional activities comply with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with academic departments to continuously improve curriculum quality and relevance.
• Implement business process modeling techniques such as BPMN to enhance academic workflows and compliance processes.
• Design and implement performance-based assessments that accurately measure students’ competencies and skills.
