Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records using document management systems.
- Handle and organize files, ensuring easy retrieval and proper filing of important documents.
- Operate office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, and photocopiers, and conduct basic troubleshooting when issues arise.
- Manage incoming and outgoing emails efficiently, including the use of email automation tools to streamline communication.
- Support inventory management by tracking office supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of documents and reports as per departmental requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information in compliance with university guidelines.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth administrative workflows and resolve queries promptly.
- Utilize basic software applications effectively to assist in daily office tasks and improve productivity.
- Ensure timely service and upkeep of office equipment by liaising with maintenance teams or vendors.
