Description
Shirka Sahara is seeking a dedicated Landscaping Worker to join our team responsible for maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces. This role requires hands-on experience in general gardening and landscaping tasks, including cutting and trimming plants and trees, watering plants and lawns, removing weeds, and overall garden upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of professional experience and must be able to work effectively as part of a large team managing a diverse range of landscaping projects. Managing a team of 50 persons, the candidate will contribute to creating and sustaining aesthetically pleasing and healthy outdoor environments. The Landscaping Worker performs essential duties that support the health and appearance of gardens and green spaces. This position requires strong physical stamina and attention to detail, along with the ability to operate various gardening tools and equipment safely. The role demands a proactive attitude towards general labor in gardening, including soil preparation, plant care, and garden cleaning, ensuring that all assigned tasks meet Shirka Sahara’s high standards. The candidate must be adaptable to outdoor work conditions and capable of following instructions while contributing to team objectives.
Responsibilities
- Perform general gardening and landscaping labor work to maintain the health and appearance of plants and outdoor areas.
- Cut and trim plants and trees to promote healthy growth and maintain the desired shape and appearance.
- Water plants, lawns, and gardens regularly to ensure optimal hydration and vitality.
- Remove weeds and unwanted grass to prevent overgrowth and promote plant health.
- Assist in planting new plants and trees following company plans and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough garden cleaning, including the removal of debris, fallen leaves, and other waste.
- Operate gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with the team of 50 persons to coordinate landscaping projects and daily tasks.
- Monitor plant health and report any signs of disease or pest infestations.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist in soil preparation and garden bed upkeep as required.
- Support leadership in managing team activities and prioritizing work to meet project deadlines.
- Adapt to outdoor working conditions and maintain a productive work pace.
- Participate actively in training sessions to enhance gardening skills and knowledge.
