Description
Sindh Bank Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated professional for the position of Team Lead - Branch Audit in its Audit Division. The incumbent will be responsible for planning and conducting branch audits, supervising audit team members, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. The role involves identifying operational risks and control weaknesses, preparing audit reports, and recommending corrective measures to strengthen the Bank's internal control environment and ensure effective risk management.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Unit Head Branch Audit in preparing the annual Audit Plan, ensuring alignment with the Bank's objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Plan and conduct financial, regulatory, compliance, and operational audits of branches.
- Develop and update audit programs and procedures in accordance with the Bank's policies, internal audit standards, and applicable regulations.
- Evaluate internal controls, operational processes, and compliance to identify control weaknesses, irregularities, and inherent risks.
- Collect and review audit evidence, maintain proper working papers, and document audit observations in accordance with applicable professional standards.
- Supervise and review audit work performed by team members, ensuring quality, completeness, and timely completion of assignments.
- Conduct exit meetings with audited units, discuss audit findings, and obtain management responses and corrective action plans.
- Prepare audit reports highlighting significant findings, risk exposures, control deficiencies, and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist the Head of Audit in preparing reports on significant audit findings and unresolved issues for the Board Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- Maintain audit records and correspondence, and recommend improvements in policies, procedures, internal controls, and audit practices.
Experience :
Minimum 5 years banking / F.I. experience in Audit function having sound knowledge of SBP regulations.
Qualification :
Minimum graduate preferably ACCA / M.B.A / M.Com from HEC recognized Institution.
