Description
Sindh Bank Limited is seeking a competent and motivated professional for the position of Team Member - Branch Audit in its Audit Division. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in conducting branch audits, reviewing banking transactions and supporting documentation, and evaluating compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements. The role involves identifying operational weaknesses and potential risks, maintaining audit working papers, documenting audit observations, and assisting in the preparation of audit reports to strengthen the Bank's control environment and promote operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and reviews across branches, divisions, and units as outlined in the Audit Plan or assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor.
- Execute audit procedures to verify the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies, rules, and regulations.
- Gather sufficient, reliable, and relevant evidence in support of audit objectives, maintaining proper documentation and cross-references to audit reports.
- Analyze collected information to identify reportable observations, provide commentary on the control environment's effectiveness, and assess regulatory compliance.
- Identify risks associated with audit observations and communicate these risks clearly to the respective branches, offices, or divisions.
- Prepare audit findings and discuss them with the Team member; draft timely reports incorporating responses from branches or management.
- Assist in preparing the final audit report, including executive summary, objectives, scope, and financial data, ensuring management responses are incorporated and reviewed.
- Maintain organized and secure audit files, records, and correspondence in a chronological manner to facilitate accessibility and accountability.
Experience :
Minimum 2 years banking / F.I. experience in Audit function having sound knowledge of SBP regulations.
Qualification :
Minimum graduate preferably ACCA / M.B.A / M.Com from HEC recognized Institution.
