Skylark is seeking a dedicated and skilled EV Bike Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and repair of electric bikes. This role requires hands-on expertise in electric bike diagnostics, battery management system troubleshooting, and electric motor and controller repair. You will lead a team of three technicians, ensuring accurate diagnostics and effective repair procedures while upholding battery safety and handling standards. This position is ideal for individuals with at least two years of experience in electric bike or motorcycle repairing, though motivated fresh candidates with relevant technical skills are encouraged to apply. The EV Bike Technician is responsible for performing precise diagnostics using specialized e-bike software and tools, maintaining an in-depth understanding of electrical systems and batteries, and ensuring the optimal functioning of motor controllers. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong technical knowledge combined with punctuality, responsibility, and a hardworking attitude. As a team lead, the technician will also oversee the daily activities of their peers to deliver high-quality service and uphold safety regulations at all times.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electric bike and motorcycle issues using advanced diagnostic software and tools.
• Conduct battery management system troubleshooting, ensuring batteries are functioning safely and efficiently.
• Repair and maintain electric motors and motor controllers to restore optimal vehicle performance.
• Lead and manage a team of three technicians, overseeing workflow, quality control, and technical training.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, battery packs, and controllers.
• Ensure strict adherence to battery safety and handling protocols to prevent accidents and damage.
• Collaborate with service departments to update repair records and customer information accurately.
• Stay current with the latest electric vehicle technologies and repair techniques to improve service quality.
• Maintain organized workspaces and manage tool inventory to support efficient repair operations.
• Train junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and adherence to safety standards.
