Description
Softcrust is seeking a skilled Video Editor with at least two years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate takes charge of producing high-quality video content by expertly combining visual elements, audio, and effects to tell compelling stories that engage our audience. This position is onsite near Giga Mall, DHA2, Islamabad, with working hours from 10 AM to 6 PM. Remote work is not available for this role. As a Video Editor, you must be proficient in using advanced editing software, including AI-powered features, to streamline workflows and enhance video quality. The Video Editor plays a critical role in automating video content generation and improving overall content aesthetics through skills like color grading, audio editing, and graphic design. This role demands creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability to work on various projects such as social media videos, thumbnails, and promotional clips. The candidate will follow established scripts and prompts to maintain brand consistency while pushing the creative envelope through automated and manual editing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into polished videos that meet the company’s quality standards and objectives.
- Apply color grading techniques to enhance the visual appeal and mood of videos.
- Perform audio editing tasks including noise reduction, synchronization, and audio mixing to deliver clear sound quality.
- Utilize AI-powered video editing tools and automation for efficient content creation and consistent output.
- Design graphics and thumbnails that effectively engage target audiences on various platforms.
- Manage social media video content by tailoring video assets to different channel requirements and audience preferences.
- Develop and follow video scripts and prompt engineering strategies to produce coherent and compelling narratives.
- Generate automated video content using AI and editing software for recurring campaigns and rapid content needs.
- Collaborate with the creative team to integrate special effects using Adobe After Effects and other tools.
- Maintain an organized library of video assets, project files, and final outputs to ensure easy retrieval and reuse.
- Continuously improve editing workflows by researching and implementing new AI features in Adobe Premiere Pro and related software.
- Ensure all video projects are delivered on time while maintaining high production quality standards.
- Comply with company policies regarding onsite working hours, location requirements, and project documentation.
