Description
SpaceP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee critical projects focused on satellite communication equipment deployment and related network services. The ideal candidate holds a BS or BTech Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology with a major in Electronics, preferably complemented by an additional IT degree. With over six years of relevant experience, this individual will be responsible for managing a diverse team of 20 professionals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects involving satellite communication systems including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting. This position demands strong expertise in project planning, risk management, budget and resource allocation, and quality management within a technical environment. The role requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Managing Satellite Terminals deployment in remote areas
• Coordination with NOC for configuration of Satcom equipment with required satellite parameters
• Optimum configurations of HPA and receivers to get desired link performance on Geostationary Satellite Links
• Configuration of IT network using Satellite as its backhaul
• Troubleshooting of deployed terminals
• Managing support / repairs of electronics/ communication modules
