Description
Spark Solar Pvt Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor specializing in Electrical Engineering for the solar inverter industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting, testing, and validating solar inverters, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the production process. This role demands expertise in diagnosing electrical and electronic faults, overseeing detailed inspection plans, and maintaining compliance documentation. The candidate will be responsible for supervising a skilled team of 20 QC technicians and inspection staff, fostering collaboration with production and technical departments to reduce product defects and uphold customer satisfaction. The supervisor will lead the quality assurance efforts in testing hybrid, on-grid, and off-grid solar inverters, along with inspecting PCB boards and electronic components for reliability and performance. This role requires at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in solar inverter, UPS, battery, electronics, or power electronics manufacturing. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities and team management skills to ensure optimal operational efficiency and product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Inspect solar inverters during various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct testing and validation of hybrid, on-grid, and off-grid solar inverters to guarantee performance requirements are met.
- Examine PCB boards and electronic components for defects or malfunctions using appropriate electrical test instruments.
- Identify and analyze electrical and electronic faults, providing effective solutions to improve product reliability.
- Perform inverter load and performance testing to verify product functionality under operational conditions.
- Review product quality prior to final dispatch to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a quality control team of 20 technicians and inspectors, fostering productivity and adherence to protocols.
- Develop and maintain detailed quality inspection reports and documentation to track compliance and testing outcomes.
- Implement and oversee supplier quality management processes, ensuring components meet required specifications.
- Calibrate electrical testing equipment regularly to maintain precise and accurate measurement results.
- Collaborate closely with production and technical departments to address quality issues and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and reduce product defects and rejection rates through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies in all quality control activities.
