QC Supervisor(Electrical Engineer)

Description

Spark Solar Pvt Limited is seeking a qualified QC Supervisor with a background in Electrical Engineering to oversee quality control operations in electrical projects. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and has at least three years of experience in electrical construction, inspection, QA/QC, or project supervision. This position requires knowledge of electrical installation practices, testing, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The QC Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical installations aligned with project specifications and industry standards. The role involves managing and leading a team of 20 personnel, guiding the team to complete inspections, testing, and commissioning activities efficiently and accurately. The individual must have strong leadership and site supervision skills to maintain high quality standards, facilitate problem-solving, and achieve timely project milestones. Proficiency in reviewing electrical drawings and documentation, along with strong coordination and communication with project stakeholders, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 20 personnel to maintain high-quality standards in electrical installations and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures related to electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance on site.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing using electrical testing equipment to verify installation quality and identify defects or non-conformities.
• Prepare detailed quality documentation, reports, and inspection records to ensure completeness and accuracy for project auditing.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders to resolve electrical quality issues and ensure smooth progress towards deadlines.
• Oversee the timely completion and closure of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
• Implement quality management systems and ensure adherence to approved construction drawings, project specifications, and QA/QC procedures.
• Identify technical defects in electrical installations, recommend solutions, and monitor corrective actions to reduce defects and rework.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage risk factors related to electrical installation quality and site safety to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in commissioning activities, verifying that all electrical systems are tested and functional per scope and project requirements.
• Train and mentor team members to continually improve quality processes and enhance technical capabilities.
• Adapt to project requirements and work effectively in a site-based environment under strict time constraints.
• Continuously monitor project quality KPIs and implement improvements to optimize quality and efficiency.
