Description
SRC Pvt. Limited is looking for a skilled Instrument Technician to join its Maintenance Department at the Muridke, Sheikhupura facility. This role involves inspecting, testing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments that are essential for smooth and safe plant operations. The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and maintenance, with strong knowledge of calibration techniques and process control systems. The Instrument Technician applies technical expertise to ensure all instruments function accurately and efficiently, contributing to overall plant safety and compliance. The position requires diligent adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, strict safety compliance, and accurate incident reporting. The candidate does not have team management responsibilities but must work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel and departments to support continuous operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, calibrate, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments used in plant operations.
- Install new instrumentation equipment and ensure proper integration with existing process control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all instrumentation to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in instrumentation to ensure immediate and effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibration details, and repairs using compliance management software.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and operations team members to support plant processes and resolve instrumentation issues.
- Participate in safety audits and assist in incident investigations related to instrumentation.
- Stay updated with technological advancements and recommend improvements to instrumentation and maintenance procedures.
