Accountant

Description

Stahlmann Pro is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of hands-on experience in managing various accounting functions, including financial reporting, tax preparation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger management. This role demands strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel to support our financial operations effectively. The accountant will work independently, without managing a team, focusing on ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial activities to contribute to the company's fiscal health.

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations such as accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Prepare and maintain the general ledger to guarantee accurate financial data and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports that provide insight into company performance and aid in decision-making. Execute tax preparation tasks, including calculating tax liabilities and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Utilize Microsoft Excel and accounting software to analyze financial data, streamline accounting processes, and generate detailed reports. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for financial optimization. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and consistent financial information and support internal audits when required.
