Description

Stark Ind is seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional with at least three years of experience in ensuring the reliability and performance of software products. The ideal candidate focuses on test automation to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of testing processes. This role involves collaborating closely with development teams to understand software functionalities and design effective test plans that maintain high-quality standards. The SQA professional will be responsible for executing automated test scripts, identifying defects, and verifying fixes to ensure the delivery of robust software solutions. Although this position does not involve team management, it requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to uphold the quality standards of Stark Ind’s software products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with software developers to understand features and provide feedback on potential issues.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution, ensuring clear communication of issues.
• Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks and processes to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Analyze test results to detect inconsistencies and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support integration and regression testing activities.
• Monitor and report on test execution progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Participate in reviews of new features and requirements to assess testability and suggest improvements.
