STRELING ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PVT LTD is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to oversee and support maintenance and manufacturing processes within their operations. The ideal candidate holds a DAE 3-year diploma or a graduation degree and has at least 5 years of relevant experience. This role focuses on ensuring that mechanical systems are maintained efficiently and that manufacturing processes run smoothly while adhering to safety and quality standards. The position does not involve managing a team but requires close collaboration with various departments to achieve operational excellence. The Mechanical Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules. This role demands a practical understanding of mechanical engineering principles as applied to industrial maintenance and manufacturing. The candidate must ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while optimizing processes to improve productivity and reduce downtime. Attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently are essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and assist in identifying areas for improvement or troubleshooting operational issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to synchronize maintenance activities with production schedules.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair work.
• Recommend and coordinate repairs or replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies related to mechanical operations.
• Participate in the development and review of maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers and contractors for mechanical parts and services when needed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and operators regarding maintenance tasks.
