Sunuba Salon is seeking a dedicated Sweeper to join our team and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in sweeping and floor care and will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless and pleasant for both employees and clients. This role involves operating various janitorial equipment and performing routine cleaning duties to keep the salon environment safe and inviting. The Sweeper will manage a team of 40 persons, coordinating their tasks to achieve efficient workflow and thorough cleaning coverage. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential to oversee the team's daily operations, schedule activities, and maintain high standards of cleanliness. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment while upholding the salon’s reputation for quality service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of 40 persons to ensure timely and effective cleaning operations.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, and floor care to maintain cleanliness and safety in all designated areas.
• Operate janitorial equipment and cleaning machinery safely and effectively according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect floors and other surfaces regularly to identify maintenance needs and perform routine care and touch-ups.
• Ensure proper use and storage of all cleaning supplies and equipment to preserve their longevity and efficiency.
• Train and support team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Schedule and assign cleaning tasks and monitor progress to maintain consistent cleanliness throughout the salon.
• Coordinate with management to report any repair or maintenance requirements for flooring and janitorial equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning materials and request replenishments as necessary.
• Enforce compliance with sanitation and safety regulations to protect employees and clients.
• Continuously seek ways to improve cleaning processes and team productivity.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests to uphold salon standards.
