A Supply Chain Manager oversees and directs the overall supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and effective management of materials, information, and finances as products move from suppliers to customers. This role involves coordinating with various departments and external partners to optimize processes such as supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations. The manager is responsible for maintaining strong supplier relationships and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance logistics optimization and inventory control. With at least three years of relevant experience, the Supply Chain Manager leads a team of 10 individuals, guiding them to meet operational goals and deliver high levels of performance. The role demands adaptability and sound handling of labor challenges, combined with excellent communication skills to interact effectively across departments and with suppliers. Expertise in advanced planning and scheduling and data analysis ensures that supply chain processes remain streamlined and responsive to market changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve overall efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Oversee logistics management, including transportation and distribution networks, to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
• Lead and mentor a team of 10 supply chain professionals to achieve operational objectives.
• Utilize data analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and plan resources effectively.
• Implement advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems to optimize production and distribution.
• Manage warehouse operations to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency in goods handling.
• Address labor-related matters effectively to maintain productivity and compliance with regulations.
• Continuously evaluate supply chain processes and introduce improvements to enhance logistics optimization.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external partners to support seamless supply chain flow.
